Fr. Thomas Prakash Alappatt Palathingal started his priestly ministry as a lecturer at Christ College, Irinjalakkuda. Later, when he returned from pastoral work in the USA, he joined the Coimbatore Mission and engaged himself in various ministries such as rector of aspirants, school teacher, social worker, parish priest etc. The Karl Cubel Project at Pollachi was efficiently implememented by him with a lot of planning and hard work. At Attappady he took charge of the social work project and reached out to the people covering the hills and valleys. Sai Baba Colony and Kozhinjampara also witnessed his firm commitment. His autobiography was published as Musings of Divine Experience. After he developed liver problems, in 2011, he was called for eternal rewards in the same year, and he was buried at Palakkad.
