Br. Jose Payyappilly, after having served some of the ashrams in Devamatha Province Trichur, such as: Christ, Irinjalakuda, opted for Coimbatore Mission Province and cherished serving there, till his death. Coimbatore, Erode, Kozhinjampara, and Palakkad were the centers he was assigned to work in. He mad his services available for Dharmaram College and Devdan Farm, Bengaluru for nine years from 1977. With his conversations tinged with humour and his love for the congregation, Br. Joseph lived his religious life meaningfully. He died in 2005 and was buried at Saravanampatty.
