Fr. Valentine Chemmanam served at more than a dozen of our monasteries in Kerala as part of his ministry. Vazhakulam, Pulincunnu, Mannanam, Kunnamkulam, Pavaratty, Varantharappilly, Ampazhakad, Kadalundy, Pullur, Thalore, 405 Pakkulam, Karimba, Irinjalakuda, Perinthalmanna, Erode, etc., were the centers where he served. Boarding rector, superior, parish priest, etc., were the offices he held. A simple, humble, and exemplary religious priest, he was an inspiration for all and cared for a green environment. He passed away in 1997, and was buried at Shornoor.
